The event is organized jointly by the Institute of Production Management of the Faculty of Production Technologies of the Technical University of Košice, with seat in Prešov and the Department of Automation and and Human Machine Interactions of the of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Technical University of Košice. Automation, as part of almost
of each advanced technical field, requires to responding to the current trends
by modernizing the curriculum and to adequately react to the problems of
practice in the field of basic and applied research.
The event will take place in three
sections:
- Theoretical aspects of automation and control
- Modern automation technologies in the context of Industry 4.0
- Industry 4.0 doctoral education using social networks

The event is organized with the support of the projects APVV-15-0602 - Predictive system for monitoring and evaluating the efficiency of heat production and supply using computational intelligence techniques. APVV-15-0700 - Research of a new composite material for the production of CNC machines for progressive machining of products made of powder materials produced by the additive DMLS technology.
